Reich, who was hired after New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels accepted and then turned down the position, will be introduced at a press conference on Tuesday.
Following Reich’s hiring, a separate report said Reich might add another former teammate with the 90’s Bills to his coaching staff in wide receiver Don Beebe.
Reich and Beebe, who most recently played together in 1995 with the Carolina Panthers, spent most of their playing time together in western New York. The two played in Buffalo together from 1989-1994.
Beebe, who is a reported candidate to coach the Colts’ wide receivers, does not currently coach in the NFL and has no experience doing so. However, Beebe is a personal trainer. Bob Kravitz of WTHR-TV in Indianapolis first reported that Reich has “reached out” to Beebe:
NOTES: Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier also interviewed for the Colts’ head coaching position. Upon Reich’s hiring, Frazier will remain with Buffalo.
