Report: Colts officially submit request to interview Bills Leslie Frazier

After speculation surfaced earlier this week, the situation became more of a reality on Thursday.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Indianapolis Colts will interview Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier for their vacant head coaching position.

The position in Indy was once filled by Josh McDaniels, however, McDaniels has taken harsh criticism this week after backing out. He was reportedly cleaning out his office in New England, where he served as the Patriots offensive coordinator, when he was convinced to stay.

Earlier this week, Rapoport speculated that Frazier could get an interview.

Prior to joining the Bills, Frazier had a head coaching stint with the Minnesota Vikings which lasted just over three years. In total, Frazier went 21-32 and had a 10-6 record in 2012, earning a playoff bid.
