Football Friday: Bills – Dolphins injury report ahead of Sunday’s game (updated)
By: Nick Wojton
ORCHARD PARK – The Buffalo Bills have a starting quarterback, but the buck stops there.
Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott named Tyrod Taylor the team’s starting quarterback on Sunday as they’ll host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday at New Era Field.
However, backup quarterback is still in question.
Nathan Peterman still remains in the concussion protocol. On Wednesday, McDermott said Joe Webb would be Taylor’s primary backup if Peterman can’t backup Taylor. That will be the case.
Peterman was ruled out for Sunday’s game at approximately 1:30 p.m. but Peterman did participate in Friday’s practice.
Taylor nor Peterman’s seasons are over, such is the case for Cordy Glenn. The team’s left tackle has been placed on injured reserve, ending his season. Glenn will have surgery on his foot.
