Brady sits out practice, not expected to miss time
FOXBOROUGH, Ma. – New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady missed practice on Wednesday as the Pats prep for their visit to New Era Field for a meeting against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
But don’t get too excited.
The 40-year-old missed practice for a sore Achilles. It was the second-straight Wednesday practice Brady missed. Brady is not expected to miss Sunday’s game in Buffalo but he did move his weekly press conference from Wednesday to Friday.
During New England’s 35-17 win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, their seventh-straight win, Brady was only sacked one time but also took a heavy hit on a fumble.
A premature-snapped ball caught Brady by surprise and flew down the field behind him. Brady ran to attempt to recover the ball but failed to recover it. On the play, multiple players hit Brady.
He finished the Miami game with 227 passing yards and four touchdowns.
