Bills WR Benjamin carted off with knee injury (video)
CARSON, CA – Kelvin Benjamin got off to a hot start against the New Orleans Saints last week, making a grab on the second offensive play of the game for the Buffalo Bills on a nine-yard pass from Tyrod Taylor.
On Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, Benjamin once again made an early catch, this time from Nathan Peterman for 20 yards on the fifth-play of the game.
On the seam route down the middle of the field, Benjamin was hit and fell awkwardly on his right knee which required him to be carted off the side line, however, Benjamin made it off the field with trainers helping him.
In 2015 with the Carolina Panthers, Benjamin tore his ACL and missed the entire season. However, that was in his left knee.
Benjamin was quickly ruled out for the remainder of Sunday’s game.
